SR. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - LOCATION: FLEXIBLE
Purpose of Position
As a member of the IT division, you will be working on software development by researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs. You will be writing and implementing efficient coding, determining operational practicality, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in software development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in electrical power industry.
- Knowledge of Low Voltage/Medium Voltage switchgear is a plus.
- JAVA experience a MUST
- Experience with the VLOOKUP function
- Experience with Tomcat
- Experience with HTML
- COBOL experience a plus
- VBA experience a plus
- SQL familiarity a plus
- Javascript experience a plus
- Git experience a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Communicate with the team to implement features
- Experience with ERP systems, including researching costs for components
Salary Range:
$120,00 - $150,000 (DOE and job location)
