SR. BUSINESS ANALYST - US FLEXIBLE
Purpose of Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a blend of business acumen, analytical prowess, and effective communication skills with ability to deal with ambiguity. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to the business through effective documentation, communication and planning.
Essential Functions:
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
- Collaborate with development and UX team to clarify requirements and gain alignment to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve processes as well as release activities (release notes, training, demo’s)
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features, and ensure releases are met on time.
- Facilitate communication workshops between stakeholders and the development team to ensure transparency and understanding of business goals. Document all workflows and requirements necessary for a sprint.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and gather user feedback for future enhancements.
- Support IT project management by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables within sprints and releases.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, adjusting to business needs as necessary.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Confluence).
- Strong understanding of business process modeling workflows and requirement gathering techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Engineering, Electrical, implementation of internal platforms
- Knowledge of ERP systems or specific business software relevant to the company.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
CA Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 depending on location and experience.
