LEAD PROJECT MANAGER - JACKSONVILLE,FL (REMOTE)
Purpose of Position

The Lead Project Manager, Field Services, is responsible for overseeing and managing field service projects from order handoff through completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Lead Project Manager will work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service and achieve project objectives.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate and lead project kickoff meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project plans.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders regularly.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Track project expenses and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Report on project financial performance to senior management.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet IEM quality standards and client expectations.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned.
  1. Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in field services or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
