2ND SHIFT MECHANICAL (FRAMING) - TEAM COORDINATOR - JACKSONVILLE,FL
Purpose of Position

This position is responsible primarily for their team’s performance, ensuring all personnel are executing the daily plan.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Work directly with the Lead, Floor Lead and Production Supervisor to provide support/training to team members, communicate company goals/deadlines and ensure priorities are being executed throughout the day.
  • Understands they are not expected or permitted to handle any personnel related matters outside of daily execution of job responsibility.
  • Understands they are responsible for reporting personnel, team or interpersonal conflicts to the lead or supervisors for their awareness and action (to include verbal warnings and write ups).
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
  • Communicates deadlines and goals to team members.
  • Manages inventory and stock of consumables, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and advising Lead or Floor Lead on ordering when necessary.
  • Proficient at recognizing print discrepancies and provides solutions to leadership team.
  • Understands that they are expected to be working when not coordinating activities of team members.
  • Performs other duties which may be required by the Lead or Production Supervisor.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 6 months of experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.

Activities:          Sitting – 5%                    Walking/Standing – 95%

Lifting:               Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

Bending:           Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.

Vision:               Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.

Mental Demands:        Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Environment:                Shop/warehouse.   Not climate controlled.  Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
