ENGINEERING ASSISTANT - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position
To support to the local engineering team and engineering manager.
Essential Functions:
- Provide CAD support for the engineering team on an as needed basis
- Work with IEM systems to create bill of materials when needed
- Utilize IEM configuration software to design standardized equipment
- Creating detailed wiring diagrams for production based on engineered designs
- Act as interface between production and the engineering team
- Work with production leads to bring issues to engineering
- Provide regular updates to engineering team on equipment production status
- Generate reports at routine intervals for upcoming commitment dates, milestones, etc.
- Provide on-boarding support for new engineers
Education and Experience:
- Technical institute certificate or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Autocad drafting software
- Must have experience with 2D CAD software (AutoCAD Preferred)
