IEM Expands East Coast Operations with Move to New 186,000 Sq. Ft. Jacksonville, FL Facility

Thursday, July 7, 2022

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM), leader in the design and manufacturing of electrical distribution and control systems, is expanding the Company’s east coast operations to a new 186,000 sq. ft. facility in Jacksonville, FL.

Previously operating out of two facilities in north and south Jacksonville areas, the new larger manufacturing plant will help the expansion of our east coast operations fueled by IEM’s steady growth in North America.

The new facility will accommodate leading-edge manufacturing technologies, including sheet metal fabrication and a state-of-the-art powder-coat paint line. A lean equipment layout and automated workflow will result in increased efficiency and throughput ultimately continuing to provide our customers the quality equipment they come to expect from IEM.

“We are extremely proud to move into our new facility,” said Tim Ferguson, Vice President of Operations at IEM. “Investing in a much larger and technologically advanced facility will allow us to support the increasing demand for our products.”

Headquartered in Fremont, CA, IEM also has manufacturing facilities in Vancouver, BC as well as Sales, Engineering, and Field Service offices throughout North America.
