SCHEDULER - JACKSONVILLE,FL
Purpose of Position
The Scheduler is primarily responsible for assisting the Production Department in all scheduling functions.
Essential Functions:
- Update Production Schedules in INFOR.
- Update associated tracking tools for assigned production departments.
- Provide support to the Production Planners.
- Prepare and distribute fabrication packages upon release from engineering and deliver to Mechanical Supervisors for execution per manufacturing schedules as assigned.
- Generate and maintain weekly production reports if required by the Manufacturing Manager.
- Interface with production supervisors to determine necessary actions to maintain schedules.
- Revise and reschedule orders to compensate for expedited orders, material shortages, and customer cancellations at the direction of the Scheduler or Manufacturing Manager.
- Prepare daily line efficiency reports for the Production Department and tracks the status of production daily.
- Adhere to established safety guidelines.
- Adheres to scheduling policies, processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Requires 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with ERP System is preferred.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Lifting: Frequently lift up to 30lbs. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Bend: Ability to bend, squat, crawl and climb.
Vision: Long periods of close work on computer screen and ability to see small or detailed items.
Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Environment: Climate controlled office space and exposure to outdoor conditions such as excessive cold, excessive heat, noise/vibration and dust.
